9.0devel and PGMonitor

Using the latest CVS head, just upgraded my home setup to 9.0devel on OpenSolaris 2009.06

$ psql postgres
psql (9.0devel)
Type "help" for help.

postgres=#

Also I upgraded the PostgreSQL Monitor to use 8.4 JDBC4 driver instead of the 8.3 JDBC3 driver. Hopefully I will get some more time to enhance the tool itself.

Hello Jignesh,

I just downloaded Postgres Monitor 0.7, which I am running against PG 8.4.4 on FreeBSD.
Are there any particular settings required in postgresql.conf in order to have it function properly, or is it just not completed yet? For example, the upper panel has blank fields other than DB Connection and DB Size.
Database tab is empty, DB Memory does not have the bufferpool hits ratio, logwriters tab only shows checkpoint segments, session detail is blank.

Hi Benjamin,

Yep there are lot of empty fields right now. With the change in jobs the tool has been lacking some focus on my end. Hopefully I will get to it soon.

Thanks for trying it out. IF you have suggestions on other things that you want to see let me know.

Regards,
Jignesh
