Tuning DB2 in a Solaris 9 Environment

It seems many DBA using DB2 with multiple partitions on Solaris 9 are not aware of the resource pool integration of DB2 V8.1 fixpack 4 and above and Solaris 9.


I dug up an old SunNetwork 2003 presentation "Tuning DB2 in a Solaris Environment" presented by Tom Bauch (IBM) and I in September 2003 which describes the integration of using Solaris resource pools with DB2. I think it is still useful for many installations using multi-partitioned DB2 on Solaris 9.
